Tradition since 1728

It is almost 290 years since a blast-furnace and a pair of tilthammers were first used in Storebro and since 1728, Storebro Bruk has been at the centre of community life. Over the years 40,000 machine tools have been manufactured for customers in 77 countries throughout the world.

Ivar Gustafsson was a great industrial pioneer. He both designed machine tools and saw that Storebro reached unbelievable levels in its manufacturing of machine tools. Storebro Industrier AB continues to work today in the same spirit.
